What I did on my summer vacation: Just got back from New Orleans. On the news tonight
 

Just got back from a little relief trip to New Orleans. I'll be on the news tonight I guess, A few drivers and I got interviewed when we got back. Maybe you can see it on the net or something, it's channel 27 news, WKOW out of Madison, WI, should be on at 10 tonight. My 15 seconds in the spotlight!
Hauled troops from the New Orleans Intl airport to a few secured areas and a couple trips into downtown area. Nothing as bad as you see on the news, but plenty of water and evidence of looters here and there. Area was pretty cleared out (of people) by the time I was there. Only pics I took were by film and I have no scanner, but I did manage a few pics on a disposable camera I carry.

Gilly, your on-the-ground observations are in harmony with my own. I dodged the G-D'd TV cameras. I'll go on TV when they pay me union scale. Be damned if I'll sell their laundry detergent and E.D. drugs for them.
