If anything both parties should use this as an example of how f-ed up our system is. The only citizens that gridlock serves is the ones that manage to get elected.

We have :

A Mayor that acted but he acted half ass
A governor that didn't know how to act
and a president afraid to act

and what did it amount to?

Why do I think that when it's all said and done, our government is going to be just a bit larger than it used to be?

I guess Mississippi makes the best case for individuals taking care of things themselves. While people are insisting on a NEW subsidized house, the people in MS are helping each other rebuild.

If thats the case he deserves the credit for the quick and effective disaster recovery in Florida last year.

you know he won't admit to that...its the DNC mandated position that everything wrong is Bushes fault...but nothing that goes right will they give him credit for...

which is why I find the lefties such a farce...

Well at least the Nursing home owners have been indicted for involuntary manslaughter.....but we know a certain person feels its still Bushes fault that his yard has crabgrass.

Once and for all, get a life, get a clue. If anyone is trying to blame that stuff on Bush, they need to be ignored.

The state and locals screwed up. No doubt about it. I previously said that the NOLA mayor might be auditioning for a chance to bump Al Sharpton out of the limelight, that he might be less unpleasant.

I would like to publicly apologize to Al Sharpton. The mayor is bleepin' idiot who needs a 2 or 3 year apprenticeship as a construction laborer to get his head straight.

I'm blaming Bush for being the "Boy in a Bubble" that he's always been. The man is in over his head, and this affair ripped the carefully constructed mask away. The guy Brown was Joseph Allbaugh's college room-mate. Don't know who Allgaugh was? Do a web search.

Bush appointed him and Chertoff?!? The guy is even more clue challenged than you. I would swap Gingrich for him in a heartbeat. McCain even faster. We need a "mac" in the White House. That's what we been missing.

BHD, the liberals haven't been able to coordinate a candidate's campaign, let alone a "smear campaign, to save their lives . . . perhaps the true brains behind this mischief is from the inside . . . hmmm . . .

I've never seen that as FEMA's responsibility. First response, rescue and care is local and state responsibility. The National guard is called up by the Governor, right?

Didn't it take FEMA a month to get set up in Florida after hurricane Andrew?
