I attended a 1/2 day research planning meeting.

I backed-up a couple of TB of data to our Raid10 server.

I cooked potato soup for supper.

I played with my dog.

I visited another forum several times hoping to wake the dead and succeeded.

I hacked and wheezed all day...(horrible cold) gave advice to needy aspiring mechanics over on another long time haunt of mine www.honda-tech.com

That was almost scarey,,, it's like the forum got that bird flu they are talking about. Hope it gets back to it's former self.

Man there were a lot of good threads that got lost. :confused:

Especially my most recent one, detailing the affects of alcohol on bowel movements. That was riveting.

I haven't slept 3 hours in the last two days....ever time I lay down I feel like I'm suffocating, every bone in my body aches everytime I move...my chest huts and I have zero apitite...and this has been since wednesday. Beginning to wonder if its something worse than a cold....Monday I see the doctor if its not improving.

I've never felt so bad since I had strep throat back in 1989.......only I had a fever just one day.....and been close to normal last 2 days. I ran a 104 with strep.....never topped 100 for more than an evening this time.

Try a heating pad to your chest it should loosen the chest muscles up so you can breathe easier.

I'm fine as long as I am verticle....its when I go horizontal the problem starts in minutes.

They must be using RAID 0 or 1 instead of RAID 5 for their arrays. RAID 5 would have automatically recovered.

During the outage, I worked on the car replacing the lower control arm, track rod and other associated parts. I'll continue in the morning. Oh, and I slept during the afternoon.

I spent the day with family and friends in a private tent at the

International Gold Cup horse races today.

Lots of fun, food, friends, (a good Cohiba cigar) and attractive drunk gals!

Hey, that does sound good...

well today it seems a tiny bit better.....got head and chest conjestion but no stomach butterflies...just zero apitite. I think the apitite thing is related to the sinus thing...probibly getting massive drainage from the back part of my sinuses and you know where that ends up by default. In any case I fell a little better now than I have felt in days thats not saying much but anything is an improvement.
