What did you do during the "blackout"?

I changed the oil, a light bulb, and the in dash cup holder on my wife's Saab. Also did some more work on a pressure brake bleeder I'm fabricating.

I couldn't do too much more because I started shaking from withdraws.

I started withdrawls also....

I started to panic when I started a project, and couldn't complete it because the directions were here. I also trolled mbworld.org, bnzsport, and 500e.com looking for some interesting topics, however id couldn't find anything good.

I have a question for the Webmaster... Are you going to restore OD? That 3 word story was at 850 posts last time I checked.

You can still get to the old threads by doing a search for them.

I just hovered over at MBNZ.org during the downtime. I didn't even drive anywhere during that time period. I thought I would be going to Austin today, but two ill family members changed all of that. I also just listened to good music during the time I'd normally be here.

Howdy All,
I was at work today so that killed most of the day. When at home I would check every couple hours.

I got brave.

Last weekend I finally caved and hit install on service Pack 2 for XP, everything went well. My upgrade was pretty much seamless, guess I waited long enough for MS to correct their fix. Today, since the Shop was down I decided to activate the automatic updates. Some new critical updates (8) were already up, so they loaded and I shut down the puter and went to dinner with friends...real people.

Get home from dinner and tried to log on, but I didn't have a modem any longer. Device manager show absolutely no devices on my system. I fiddled around awhile, got nowhere so I restored the system to yesterday. Tada, back in the game and now automatic uodates are shut off again.

I was in the middle of a WVO thread on Diesel Discussion when the site took a . I hope the article isn't gone for good. I too had withdrawls. I'm glad the thread on the destruction of the 123 is gone and I hope it's gone for good. I checked my past posts and they end up sometime in Sept. My PM box shows no PMs in or sent but I know I had three in there. Two were from Boneheaddoctor and one that I sent to Bonehead. That's it for my damage report.
