Tow Strap
The above items I mentioned are in my truck for real. |
Nothing usually. I figure whatever breaks I am probably not going to be able to fix it. So I have a cell with AAA and MB road side.
|
I keep a specific winter kit in a gym bag....containing ...a german army colapsible entrenching tool...(has a pick on it) a 1 gallon bucket of old black beauty sandblast media (won't suck up water and freeze like sand) a stadium blanket spare gloves, 2 sets of strap on emergency chains..and a wool ski cap, adn coveralls (way big to wear over winter cloths) and tow strap.
in additiion to the year round kit of basic tools, jumper cables, fluids and spare filters.. |
I heard that a candle provides enough heat to keep a person alive in the event that you find a snowbank in the middle of nowhere.
Last year a mother and daughter were lost in a snow drift on the side of a busy major highway for two days, they barely survived. |
A have a few quarts of motor oil, first aid kit, transmission fluid, white litihum grease, dielectric grease, spare fuel filters, shop towels, spare belts, oil filter, Redline diesel fuel catalyst, flashlight, armor all tire dressing, some spare light bulbs, and an extra headlight. I need spare MB coolant, jumper cables, a warning triangle for my trunk lid, some tape, and a AAA membership. The AAA membership should come soon.

Bottle of Maker's Mark for traffic.

Since you're a dieseler, you might consider carrying a can of ether. It is very dangerous to use in an MB diesel since it can cause serious damage, but if you're in the middle of nowhere with one short crank left in the battery, a short burst of ether might get you home.

Glock 23, especially on long trips to nowhere.
Veggie oil for the diesel, at least 5 gallons, flashlights, cables, cell phones etc..... Tow strap is next on the list. Good idea MM. |
Howdy All,
Dog food, dog treats, dog bowls, dog jackets, dog first aid kit, water, dog leashes, paper towels. For me I have a jacket, toilet paper leatherman tool, mag light, cell phone and a power bar. For the car there is a spare tire, jack, and a quart of oil. |
