We were clearly told by our instructor to keep it on the ground, he was on his way down and sprang to his feet, avoiding my kneck crank, then circling around me, improving his position greatly and the rest is history. Had I known we could stand, I would've bested him. Or at the very least made it harder on him.

Btw: Do you ever catch "Ultimate Fighter II" on Spike-TV? Welteweight, Luke Cummo is blast to watch. A Taoist who adds a nice dose of Jeet-Kun-Do in his MMA. His opponent- Anthony Sammy (as supposed master grappler) couldn't keep him off the ground. Totally destroyed Anthony.

I do watch UF II, it's pretty cool the way those guys train.

I saw last week when Ken Shamrock got beat in UFC. That dude's a bad ass at 41, even though he lost. He slipped and the kid pounced all over him.
