When someone parks too close to me where it is difficult for me to get in my car I leave them a slip of paper on their windshield wiper that asks them if the next time they park so close to me I would appreciate it if they would leave a can opener so I can get in my car. The last sentence on the paper suggests that inconsiderate people like them should take a bus.

Ahhh....memories.

While in college, many many moons ago, I had a beater Honda N600. I'm sure many of you know about these cars - basically about the size of the original Mini Cooper, but not as cool...

Anyway, when I'd pull into a lot, and see some low-life snob (always seemed to be a Vette...) taking up two spots, I'd squeeze that little sucker in. It could easily fit in a half a spot.

And of course, I'd always do it on the driver's side. Left about 2" between my passenger door and theirs, but unlike the prick I was messin' with, I'd be completely within the lines of the parking spot.

Thankfully, I've matured a little bit. However those stickers do look tempting...

Call me an idiot - I do not see anything wrong with the parking?

OMG, Honda 600. Buddy had one in HS. We were TERRIBLE to him. He never knew how or where his car would be when he came out to go home. Sometimes we would just turn it sideways in the space. Once, we dragged it up to the top of the hill by the gym. Only thing that saved him was:
A: it got boring after awhile
B: it didn't take too many of us to pick the car up and turn it around the right way so he could leave.
We never hurt the car, but it was fun to play with it. Sorta a really big matchbox car.

I had one too...actually, I wish I still had it, because they were really neat little cars.

Heh...I can relate to that.

Back in my pot smokin' days, I used to drive over the hill to Berkeley to score my stash. A guy living in the dorms there must have supplied half the East Bay, but I digress...

Anyway, I'd invariably come back out and find somebody had done just that - turned it sideways. Fortunately, it was never turned over. Unfortunately, the first time it happened my "doobie brother" wasn't along for the ride - had to talk a passer-by into giving me a hand. That was the last time I ever drove out there solo...

Two healthy teenage guys could easily lift the thing by one end. You just let the suspension work in unison with your lifting - every third or fourth lift, just give it a little extra effort on the suspension rebound and slide it 6" sideways.

Man...those were the days. Getting a little nostalgic here...just might have to head over to eBay...

An old girlfriend in high school had a VW bug. In the winter we used to carry it to the top of a pile of snow. We even tried to put it on the roof of the school once.
