But until that day
Homey don't play."

you would need to win the lottery to maintain even one of those much less all of them even if they were free.

Holy Crap! Can you say payday?

A fleet of cars like that must be hell to insure and maintain. My g/f's dad has 3 ferraris, and those cost alot to maintain. Now something like a traile like that. Getting approved for insurance for cars like that must be some crazy ass hoops. We had to wait for 48 hours for approval from the HQ to get the insurance approved for a beautiful Lamborghini Diablo VT. Getting a fleet like that must take weeks to get insurance approved.

I have a friend that owns two AC Cobras. A 289 and a 427. Total value about $600,000. He says he doesn't worry about insurance.

Actually, I think that top car is a Diablo, not an Esprit.

The McLaren and CLK-GTR are on the closed carrier...

iwrock 11-01-2005 11:20 PM

I was just thinking about the liability involved in hauling around a small fleet of land rockets like that. Can you imagine driving that truck? Some steely nerves there...

You beat me too it, thats exactly what I was thinking :D I wouldn't do it, certainly not on the I95 anyway, or anywhere near Florida ;)

The lottery is Gambling for people who are bad at math.

...but after a few vintage MB's, I'd probably import a flock of 20 yr old asian girls.

Cap'n Carageous 11-03-2005 11:33 PM

If I won The Lottery??

I'd do two chicks at the same time. Chicks that do that kind of thing go for guys with money.

Speak for yourself - I'm thinking high pitched chatter, garlic breath and a Butterfly knife.

I was talking about sleeping with them...not marriying them....if one whips out a butterfly knife you made a poor choice in consorts.

Right on. If I won the lottery, I'd be all over a properly-done AC Cobra replica. I don't think I could drive an original with a clear conscience, but a nice kit... oh, man. THAT'S a car!

BTW -- your friend is nuts not to insure those things! Then again, I suspect the premium, over a few years, would damn near buy a third Cobra!

My experience....Ahemmmmm.....(-: is that non -american women are alot more fun to be with....(ie; not as screwed up .)

Yes some will try to cut you now and then, but that's the price you pay for alot more fun. example; Watch any James Bond movie.
