gotta love how the oil companies gouge on diesel prices. lower the gas because their are far more gas users than diesel so .. less people complaining wont really be noticed unlike a whole lot of people complaining

My 2003 Prius gave me 60,700 miles of flawless operation before I traded it in on a Ford Escape Hybrid. They are a great car, and all I can do is hope that the FEH is as well engineered.

What do you mean? If you make your question clear then people far more knowledgeable will bring you the answer. I suspect we'll find it far more mundane than we expect.

Does it make much sense to buy a Prius? If you just bought a civic or a corolla with a stick shift it would be a lot cheaper than the Prius, which seems like it would take a long time for you to recover the difference between the small economy car and the Prius through fuel savings.
