2001 C320's Thermostat LCD has gone CrAzY...
Upon starting the car last night, my thermostat's LCD screen displayed not only the two temps and settings, but a variety of lit spots all over the screen. The only factors that were different last night to today would have been: it is damn cold here in PA and the car was parked horizontaly on an incline of about 35 degrees.
Has anyone else ran into this issue? To any resolve as well? -Joey |

Can't tell ya, but if it's like the temp display on my 190-E, it'll die a long, slow, agonizing death until there's no display at all. I think it's typical after a few years for some of these displays to go away.

I guess I will just wait until it warms up a little and replace it... until then, i will just tell people it's a highly sophisticated german engineered snow-flurry detection unit -- the more lit dots on the LCD; the higher the chance for snow.
