I just got SMOKED with a snowball

I'm 15 for another two months, and I get drivers ed crap still. I had a driving time (bad planning, right after deer hunting)... Im on my 4th lessen, because im going one a month. So I was putsing around the neiborhood practicing "residential driving" (bunch of crap... driving around neiborhoods)
Comming around the 90* corner from eddy to milton (kind of a rich part of the neiborhood), I saw a snow fort, and a few kids (o **** moment)
THWAK, a NICE sluchy snowball right in the middle of the super saterns winshield. After I stopped and flipped the wipers, I nicely rolled down the windows and screamed "NICE SHOT JACKASS" I thought it was funny, and my driving instructor did too (20ish... i think) But then I thought If I "had" lost control of the car (****ty satern, should put it out of its misery), their parents woulda sued me. I dont think it hurt that poor car any. but had I been in the benz, which i WILL NOT drive this winter, It might have. A scratch on the SS is nothing, curb damage who cares?, but on the benz its different because well... its a benz, and I gotta pay to fix it,

Anyways should I have done anything differently? I stayed in my lane (i think), and their fort was on the sidewalk. I didnt chase them in the car, I didnt get OUT of the car and run them down... Just braked like a mofo and yelled at them... I hope they dont start throwing eggs or rocks. We had a guy killed a while ago from some kids who threw a bowling ball (i think) onto the highway off a bridge... I dont know the details, other than a guy's dead because of kids throwing crap at cars.

I'm with on that Don. Reminds me of a time when a friends house was egged on Halloween. It was funny when the egg thrower was caught by my friend's father, and dragged down the street and made to clean up the mess.

Seen the BMW TV commercial where the Land Rover gets pelted with by a gang of snowball-wielding youth, while the approaching BMW driver deftly maneuvers speedily through? The look on one of the frustrated kid's faces is priceless!

I threw my share of snowballs at cars when I was a kid. We were smart enough to have a good escape route through the neighborhood already planned out in case someone stopped and chased us. I still remember a few cars would slow down while the drivers motioned for us to keep 'em coming! But that was another era (early 70's).

Heck, as long as it's just snowballs, I see it as all-American fun! Just as long as it doesn't progress to bowling balls and the like. A snowball can't really hurt the car anyway.

Maybe I'm just immature.

20 degree weather you can bust a window real fast.....or dent the body....sheetmetal is not what it was 30 years ago....glass is thinner too, all in the interest of weight savings...

Personally its no laughing matter to me....trashing peoples cars are a serious matter to me...Would have gotten it so bad from my father I would not sit down for a week if I had done it as a kid....

Your supposed to throw snowballs at cars as a kid. And mess around with home made explosives and steal booze from your parents. All that stuff is part of growing up. And it's fun! I havent grown up yet so I can still do some of those things.

Damn !! Sounds like a waste of good fruit!! After living in WI all my life them white missles from hell are something we all must deal with! Now that I am in NC I have not seen enough snow to make a snowball and that suits me just fine!!
