Buffalo nickel....

Anyone see the new buffalo nickel?

The buffalo has a pecker on it.

I really could care less, but the teller at m,y bank tol dme that they were either a hoax by one of the engravers at themint, or plain old error and that there were only a certain amount in circulation.

Well after collecting 20 of them, I have determined this to be a hoax.

Or I have a bunch of $$$$ sitting in my drawer

I have a 2005 Silver proof set and after looking at it, it sure looks like a bull buffalo to me. I wouldn't exactly call it a penis, but it is where one should be located on a bull....

I haven't had the time to get my proof sets yet. If it doesn't have much of a penis the engravers at the mint are trying to be PC. I can tell you, The Don, for a fact that a buffallo bull definately has a very visible sheath that his penis resides in. I skin and gut any where from 5 to 10 bulls a year for my neighbor who raises them. The penis is big enough that it makes an unusual walking cane after drying it with salt. Those swagger sticks make good conversation starters on first dates.

I'm not sure I'd want the lady to see that...

Might make my walking stick look tame by comparison.

I don't understand what the big deal is. It's just an image of a buffalo. If one looks at the Great Dane trailer logo (a great dane), it is an anatomically correct male. Same for the Mack Truck bulldog. The old stallion that used to reside on the entryway of Mile High Stadium was also correct.

Oh well, times must be VERY good, for people to have the time to worry about such things.

The giant bull just off Wall St in NYC has a giant prick and balls the size of basketballs, I don't see the problem with it being on a nickel. Its not like they put Clinton on the coin and had his zipper down or something. I don't think it has to be a hoax, its just the way it is.

The government makes a whole load of money minting these special issue coins because the general public collects them and keeps them out of circulation. If it costs the governement two cents to mint a quarter and somebody decides to keep it, then the government is up 23 cents. Think about all these quarters and the new nickles that the public is collecting. It's not a coincidence that they keep making all these commemorative coins and the state quarters.
