I Need Help On This Resume Email Asap!!
 

One of my jobs is working at a bar :) and one of the patrons that i speak to regularly told me how he always sees me running around and working hard and he would like me on his team so he gave me his card with his email address on it to send him my resume, but what do i say in the email?

or ask him about the opportunity if you don't know what he does.. i'd mention something of the conversations you have had with him if any or just the time when he gave you the card... it depends; too hard to say without knowing the story more fully..

U already talked to him, so something like prior poster mentioned, or "pursuant to our conversation on XX, attached please find my resume for your review.

I would like for you to note my XX (lists whatever strengths on your resume that you feel he would particularly like)....

MORE important is the letter POST interview.... on that one, remind him of strengths he /she need that you have... etc... POST interview letter is KEY....

Deliver letter and resume in person if possible. Wear a tie. Call ahead to make sure your dude will be there.

If you fax it/ email it your resume looks like all the others.

If I asked someone to email a resume and then they delivered it personally my first instinct would be to put it in the trash.

Keep it simple and use normal English. It sounds like you already have the job.

2. I agree email / fax / or deliver as instructed. When I have been in a hiring capacity position, I definitly prefer for it to be delivered as per instructed. That would tell me, "did this guy NOT follow instructions?" But I guess there is no wrong or right; preference... in person you do make a visual recognition with applicant / employer...

the possible future employer already knows who this guy is, and he said e-mail it.. i'd e-mail it.

Wear some pants,too.
