Introduce myself

Hello all, I just wanted to say Hi and see if I can get some help (in another thread) with my 300 SDL. It is pretty sweet, except wife blew the engine. Working on getting another. I am the second owner and it was pretty prestine. Look forward to posting with you!

Fairhope, eh? Pretty town. How's hurricane recovery (Ivan, Dennis, Katrina) going?

I've been working on a large project remapping the wetlands of Mobile and Baldwin Counties. 2001 photography. I'd love to remap, post hurricanes.

Blown engine? Man that sucks. I envy you the car, though. I hunted for an SDL for a year or more and on finding a nice one, discovered my garage is about 3 inches too short.

Thanks for the warm welcome, I am getting excited about getting the car up and running. Will be searching and asking lots of questions soon. We seem to be always recovering from some storm or another , but I would not live any where else!

Hi Dot, welcome. I hope you find an engine soon, I love my 300SDL. It's the best car I've owned. Hope to keep it for many years to come.

Bot,
You should lengthen your garage.

Good luck with finding and engine for that car! Don't worry you will, 603's are pretty rare so it will take some time and work.
