The one who solves that riddle gets banned for using inappropriate language.:silly:

I dare someone...:D

If it was slick out I would have probably just went around him. I am a little ticked off from doing battle on the Post Road right now so I have zero sympathy for slow people who are in my way.

Even worse. But I do think the exception would be if it was a passing lane.

Thanks a lot for your input, guys! Weird to me, though, in Germany we don't have center lanes at all, and you would never get a ticket for "unsafe passing", especially not in the middle of the night and with no traffic. At this time police look out for drunk drivers and speeders (the 20+mph ones), etc., and find them! I paid already and I certainly learned this lesson: There is no Autobahn in the US but it makes no difference if you drive 50mph on a highway at night or in a school zone at 10 in the morning. Just avoid the bored cops, you might get a ticket for not driving the minimum speed on that highway.:D Please don't get me wrong here, I don't want to be offensive towards anybody, but the way people speed in front of my son's elementary school scares me (40+mph, speed limit 25mph), police often park in my street and watch traffic, and I have never seen anybody getting a ticket.

The car in front of you slows down and signals to make a right turn.

Wasn't this the beginning monologue by Rod Serling from an episode of The Twilight Zone?

Where did you get that? $500 maybe incorrect but that fact that doe remain is it's a wicked ticket. I'm pretty sure they bang you with a double on something. I'll also bet that there was a bad accident that involved this violation so the police stepped up enforcment.

Not sure if they have this law in Florida....it would be hard to enforce, as many old people mistake the center lane (when available) for a regular lane. They usually figure it out after a little while, and then promptly cut into the regular lane. It is such a move, that makes driving on Florida roads exciting! You just never know what they are going to do. Do we live life on the edge, or what? :D
