Paypal spending limit increase

I was getting very close to my $2,000. limit on Paypal before "verification" is required. No way was I giving them my bank account.

So, I just made a transaction that would bring me within $50.00 of the limit and what do I see:

The limit is raised from $2K to $10K!!

Anbody else notice this or have any inside dope regarding the change??

I'd run into the limit also. Got an e-mail from Paypal a few days ago saying they had raised the limit but did not give the new $$ amount. I'll start using it again now.

Do what I did and go to any bank that has a free checking account with NO FEES. I keep about 300-400 dollars in that account and I use it strictly for PayPal.
