It sounds like your on the right track, a big 140 with all the v12 juice you could want, would be a blast to cruise down lifes highway in and accomidate you and your gadgets as they become necessary... sorry to hear about your health... You seem to have a good atitude about it and you should reward yourself with the car you want to experience if you can. When I pull up behind you at a light and see your s600 badge I will be envious.

The best car is the one you want and can get.

Sounds a bit like mine. Dual Weber 40 DCOE sidedrafts, 292 Shrick cam, BBS wheels, 4 speed and 3.90 rear

If I had to have one last car, it would be a 240D in that off white/ cream color, 4 speed manual and a crank sunroof.

I'd be happy with any 2055 car.

Pastmaster, given your criterion, I would go with a V12 600. Has the space you need and definitely something special.

As for me, if this flu doesn't start to ease up, my last car may well be my 300SD

I'd certainly second that Auburn Speedster, especially a 1932 version equipped with the V-12 engine and the 2-speed rearend. What a beautiful machine, know where one is but it is way out of my $ range!!!
