Infiltrator Leach Field?

Anyone here have experience, input or opinions on using infiltrator panels as opposed to traditional perforated pipe and gravel for septic leach fields?

How do you know when to pump your septic tank?

Here is a link to another thread on septic systems. I don't remember if there is anything in it that will help.

I have asked a bunch of people about the infiltrators and have gotten mixed opinions. You can save some room with the infiltrators if your inspector will let you, some won't. The only real complaint I have heard is that a heavy vehicle may crush the installed infiltrator. You aren't supposed to drive over field lines anyway.

Synthetic fibers from clothes washers permanently clog many field lines. There is a filter (basket) to keep out the fibers, use one.

Thanx Twitch,
I searched and read that thread and a couple of others on septic systems but didn't come across anything regarding infiltrator panel usage. Was looking for first hand experiences ...
