Volvo emblem is the symbol for the male.

Anyone ever notice the Volvo emblem is the symbol for a male. The circle with the arrow pointing to the upper right. I wondered why this was so I looked into it.
The web site says, "Volvo is Latin and means "I roll". The Volvo circle-and-arrow trademark was created to represent strength, taking its graphic shape from the traditional alchemist's symbol for iron ore.

The symbol has been modified since then I guess.

I think it's an aphrodesiac!

When viewed closely by females, it causes them to follow the owner home, immediately remove their clothing and make love to said owner!

Actually it is the symbol for iron. While the new Volvo are certainly not quality cars, the olders one's have done quite well. Irv Gordon has 2400,000 on his p1800.

My dad just rebuilt and restored a 73 1800ES. We'll see if he gets that many miles on it. I think not, he doesn't drive it enough..:laugh2:
It's more of a project/leisure car.
