My dad was telling me earliar today that a parking ticket even if it paid promptly can effect an individuals credit rating. To me this just does not make sense. My issues is that on capus we can either pay a meter, or buy a permit to park. My issues is that I like to park on an end spont twords the back and all the the meters are broke. I would buy a premit, but, don't see a point since the meters are not maintained. Also, the permit is a stiker that has to go on the car which I really don't want. It seems like maybe residue from the sticker might somehow even flow off on to the rear window chanel trim and casue rust. This is obviously a little extream, but if they want to make money off permits, they should be made out of a material that does not make a mess. What do you guy think? Thanks for any information and happy bricking.
Since the meters have been broke, I have been just parking there. They have either been jammed full of quaters or the displays have been totally broken. I have not recived a ticket and figued I would just continue to park there.
I'm now very concearned about the credit rating thing, as I would not want my credit rating to be tarnished over this. I figuere if I got a ticket I would pay it right away, apparently that is not enough. Anyone care to explain?
