I would really like to see a w126 gas and diesel G2G in the northeast area. Its just a suggestion. If I had the time to organize one then I would do so.

We organize a couple a year over in the diesel forum. Last one was late Oct in northern NJ. The next one will be at Bills house in PA, that is the big one.

We probably average 2-3 a year they are usually in PA, NJ, NY, RI.

I'd love to see your 55k mile 420SEL you should bring it around to one.

Wished I lived closer. It'd be fun to meet some of the people and see cars and stuff. The closet one to me was the Houston GTG and there's no way I could have broken away from everything to get that far.

I am alos a member of a Ford Diesel Group, and we've had a weekend event over the last couple of july 4, weekends.
The first one was in NW PA, right near the Ohio line. We had a fellow drive up from Texas. MOst of us were amazed that he would even think of driving so far on a weekend. He just said it was like a drive across his state. http://www.peachparts.com/shopforum/images/smilies/smile.gif

I live in NC, my parents are in western NY. 650 miles from here. My brother was in Miami, 750 miles from here.

If I remember right, Texas is like 1000 miles e-w and 1100 miles n-s. I remember taking a day to drive from Dallas west toward Las Vegas. A BIG ass state.
