I'm in!
There are some die-hards at work who'll be pleased, too. Thanks for the info. Are you going to get a new(er) Mac now that they've begun the Intel switch? I'm thinking of a new iMac for home. I haven't bought a new mac since about 1990--been buying them off eBay about 2 yrs behind the bleeding edge. But I might get a new one, wtf? This maybe a major turning-point in my life. Will I buy a new car next? Build a house? Is this my long-awaited midlife crisis FINALLY expressing itself? It's like delayed puberty not to have had my self-indulgent midlife when I'm 15-20 years past when most guys buy a convertible and marry a trophy wife. Stay tuned. News at 10:00. B |

The google earth for mac is really cool, if you click the hand while moving the map you can "spin" the globe. |

Cooool, thanks for the heads up.
I'm a two mac household now. Bought a new G5 last year, and bought myself a Mac mini this year for X-mas. What a nice little machine. My brother bought himself a G5 the same time I did last year, and he awarded himself an iBook for X-mas as well. I told him Med Mech and his mom were happy with theirs, and that was enough for him.

Bot,
If it were me, I'd wait a while before buying a new Mac with the intel chips. There is going to be a lag until the new software catches up. Just like buying a new car, wait at least a year until all the bugs are worked out.
