Hi,

Found that one... it seems they have improved a bit (2.1 rel.) etc.

I picked up a refurb. with a *new* batt. for half price on Amazon, with a dog and LOTS of traffic, I'm psyched if it helps keeps things clean around here. I figure the dog will freak out over it, but we'll all just have to have a chat!

I'm on my fourth one now -- that's one purchased and three warranty replacement units. When they work, they work well, but I've had more than my fair share of breakdowns.....

Phooey. Their Off Topic forum doesn't have a three word story.

Next to cell phones, and fast food, roombas sound like a real waste. How lazy can a single person be!

MUCH AGREED. CELL PHONE = WASTE. ROOMBA = interesting idea but unless a big/busy house hold useless unless for entertainment.

We would love to have one, but with rugs in each room and a lot (too much) of antique furniture that is very low to the ground, it wouldn't work. For instance, we have an 8 chair dining room table and a 4 chair pub table in the kitchen. After moving all of the chairs to another room, it is a piece of cake to go ahead and vaccuum. If I had one of those mod Cali houses with glass walls and no furniture, I imagine it would be awesome!
