Well I was thinking about buying a 635 CSI

I know someone who seems to be interested in buying my 1983 Volvo 240 Turbo. I like the car, but I have two other Volvos that are very similar. I was thinking about selling it and buying a Bmw 635 CSI. I'm not sure how good of an idea this would be or not. Maybe I should look harder for a 500 SEC.

The 6 is a real nice car if you can find one in good shape. It's fairly solid and no gadgetry to drive you crazy. Plus you can get it in a 5 speed manual.

The 635. Awesome car. If you can find one in good shape, I'd jump on it. Subjectively speaking, one of the best looking cars of its era, a great driver and man did that big six pull.

I love my 633 but I've seen several 635s and they're awesome as well. My bimmer mechanic has a very nicely restored 635 and its gorgeous.

I almost bought one...a Euro-spec M635CSi. Really good looking car from the front. The back was a lil ugly tho.

I passed due to maintenance nightmares (M-specific parts) and got an 86 Porsche 944 turbo (not much better in terms of maintenance) which was tons of fun until someone stole it....

Love the car
We had a discussion about these cars here a year or so ago, so may want to search it out. I do seem to remember they had some issues. Cracking cylinder heads stick in my mind.
