It is because people eat crap. I just had Duchess for lunch today and man I am now regreating that. I should have just had my usual turkey and swiss.

How do people eat like this everyday? I think I just my fill of fast food for this year.

I work in a deli and I see the 300lb women come in and order 5 pounds of high fat meat, that not to mention fat has insane amounts of salt in it. If you look in their carages all you see is soda, chips, cookies, and other pre made crap.

Yeh - But the soda is quite often a diet type. For some reason they seem to think this is going to balance out the high-fat foods/crap they eat.

I don't get that one either. Sad....

Thank you for your time. Now back to the discussion.:D

I have to take issue with this analysis. I've met many people who this scenario simply cannot apply. I'm sure that you have also met them.

They have their head up their a$$. :D :D

I laugh at people who buy the "low salt" deli meats. Low salt just means insted of 600mg per serving it is 500, it is still loaded with salt. But the average moron fails to grasp this even when I explain it to them. For some reason they have bought into the various marketing lines.

OK Brian - ya got me on that one.

Not thinking for a moment that I could actually make a post that you wouldn’t “take issue with”, I must admit on this one you are correct.
Proof is proof. Fact is fact. I stand corrected. I was wrong. I’m sorry. I should never have made that post. Sorry. So sorry…. what the hell was I think'n???:silly:

That is, unless you’ve gone “off topic” like I seem to every time.

BTW - How quick can you get to Montauk on short notice? I’m flying a client to MTP next week but not sure ATT of date and arrival time. I’ll have to wait a few hours for him to do some business, then we’re out of there.
I can’t think of a better person to spend an hour or two yack’n or buzz’n around over Long Island with than you. :D Interested? PM me a number to call when I know more. That, or I can just PM you from the plane and we can meet at Rick’s or the A-F B&G (if they‘re still there).

No, I don’t have anything better to do.

Truth to “how cool” this meeting for the first time ever would/will be: I’ll ask if he’s Brian. He’ll say yes. I’ll say I’m John. And, while shaking hands we will both state simultaneously that the other knows nothing of business economics, that they’re full of *****….perhaps a few other choice shrewd comments pertinent to posts made here…and while still shaking hands we’ll have a laugh and say: “Cool, let’s go get a beer !!”:D

I never let a persons difference in opinion stand in front of a possible friendship. Or a cold beer. But - I’ll be flying that day. So - make mine an O’Douls.

If I’m lucky - the approach will even be gusts to 45kts/XC15kts. That way I can get out of the plane and state: “That was so easy, hell - I’ll buy lunch!” Just to be an ass of course.:)

Truthfully - I’ll look forward to it, however it works out.

I'll send you my contact info by PM. I'm about 90 minutes from Montauk and can certainly get out of this office for the afternoon.
