Did Anyone Bring a RHD Car from Europe to the States??

hey im thinking about brining over a right hand driver (rhd) car from uk to the states..
i was wondering if it is allowed in all 50 states and if anyone actually brought them over how much the tax was..

The manufacturer of the car can tell you what needs to be done to import it. (speedo, emissions, safety features, marking plates, ...) varies from car to car.

Anything over 25 years old does not get inspected

I think that the current law allows any car over 25 years to come through without inspection. Im waiting until 2011 so that I can import my Euro Spec 560SEC

I've seen a RHD BMW 745i in my area. I think the owner owns the local british pub.

I drove them in England. Kinda weird getting use to the. Wasn't all that fun for me. Don't thinkI'd want one.
