That's just like my back yard.
Except for all the trees. And the acreage. And the Wildlife. |

Cool....
I’ll see your dozen backyard does, and raise you a backyard buck or two.
Perhaps we should get these groups together. We could use the high mass doe stock. Much bigger than any around here. (BTW - The wire is to (try to) keep the hogs out.)

Just like Berry Hill Farm except my deer are black and pig-shaped.
Seriously, that's a nice mess o' venison. Texas whitetails aren't much bigger that dogs.

Don't blink. They're like rabbits.

The problem you’ll find, (like most of the folks around here have) is that you can’t shoot and eat them fast enough. Just when you think you have them under control or that they’ve moved on , you wake up and your back yard looks like a testing ground for Troy-Bilt, and your feeder is over on it’s side. Hence the wide stance and wire on ours. Have fun - But I havent heard of anyone winning the hog battle yet.

You have bears, raccoons and porcupines. All of them share blood, muscle, and intestinal parasites with hogs. Use universal precautions when dressing feral hogs or you'll risk becoming the host of a party from hell. Bot |
