I didn't know Bush was in the Coast Guard. I wonder what else you "know" about Bush that I don't know.

I don't know whether Bush is dumb. He sounds dumb, but that could be deceiving. The problem with Bush is not IQ points. His problem is that he doesn't know right from wrong. I will give him the benefit of the doubt as far as wanting to do the right thing. He just doesn't know what the right thing is.

I also don't know whether Kerry is dumb, but he is a total schmoe. All partisanship aside, shouldn't we all admit that our major party presidential candidates in 2004 were piss poor? Bush vs. Kerry? What's this country coming to?

4 months? the tour was one year....think about who he had to suck up to to get out of that...

The problem is the lefts inability to distingish right from wrong. THe previous administration proved that all too well.

Right isn't what some pollster tells you is right...real leaders don't take polls to decide which way to lean that day. A real leader makes his own decisions.

All are Presidential candidates have been pretty weak as of late. 04 was the worst year so far, I hope for 08 the parties can field some real leaders.

This thing with Bush is he isn't the best public speaker. Clinton was you could as him a queston he knew nothing about and he would come off smooth. Bush lacks that tallent. I do like how he isn't swayed by the poll numbers, Bush sticks to his guns.

We need another FDR.

nobody minds opposition (except, of course, you) but most people mind, intractable, blithering, jingoistic, hostile, argumentative, contentious, militant, myopic, poorly conceived, misspelled, raving rants that have little to do with anything.

It's hard to remove the log from one's own eye when being helpful pointing-out the mote in the eye of one's brother.

What I mean is that there are folks here who just can't get the picture that everything has been said, all of the cards played, the pot has been divided and the game is over. Instead they worry it like a Jack Russell after a barn rat.

Was that paragraph about Clinton-haters or Bush-haters?

One of those guys is essentially irrelevant. The other should be. Does that help?
