What's up with YALE ?
Why the hell are they addmitting the damn TALIBAN to our Ivy League schools? Are we running out of students in the US to be recruiting the crazy Taliban savages?
I'm sure there are thousands of people that would love to go to YALE but instead they choose the enemy. What kind of message does this send to the rest of the world? They story was aired on Scarborough Country today and I was shocked that crap like this can happen. http://www.theconservativevoice.com/article/12802.html Quote:

Actualy from what I have been told he is an ex Taliban. Its Yale, come on if you have to ask that queston. It YALE thats the answer.

After all the anti-western statements he's made in public, his decision to attend an American university seems somewhat hypocritical. Even more so as it's the university all our presidents seem to attend.
I can't say I think this is a terrible decision on Yale's part, though. I'm not sure if Duck was saying it tongue-in-cheek, but education is indeed the best cure for ignorance. I wonder if this has been widely publicized in New Haven. It's a pretty hard place when you get away from campus (although that's like half the city), and if I were him I would probably spend a lot of time at home. |
Well considering I go to school almost down the street, I don't really hear much about it.
The area around Yale's campus is actually pretty nice, but New Haven is real hit and miss. On some streets the houses are worth $1m+ on others they are crack houses. Heck Southern had one of the founders of the Black Panther's speaking a few weeks back. |
