So Bush's speech last week extolling the many benefits of exporting US jobs to India was just a media hack job? Thank God - I was worried he was actually saying this.

His hearty endorsement of India's nuclear proliferation - also fiction? Whew.

It's good to know these positions, radical for either party, were made up and patently false. I'm now able to relax and enjoy the most gifted and wise leadership our nation has ever enjoyed.

So.... how is this one not a case of reformatting?

Our local talk FM just dropped Tony Snow and replaced him with Rush. I say good move. With Tony you had to listen to the entire show to get the message. With Rush, all you need is the first five minutes!!!!

I'm glad someone else out there can see through the smoke and focus on the issues. The truth is out there, you just have to look for it with the blinders off. yeah..48% of the population can't come up with a platform for the last two elections...or do anything but rant about the other 52% and yet they are the ones to point fingers. Slinging mud doesn't constitute a viable political platform...and the voters made that clear the last two elections.

Let me add I think its best if there was a honest and clear platform from both sides.....unlike they way it has been...with the right telling what they want to do and the left name calling and fabricating false news stories instead of presenting an alternative idea. THe results would be better for all if that happened.

But I seriously believe the Libertarians will soon have their moment in the sun....lets hope they make the most of it.

I believe CONSTRUCTIVE debate is good for the political system.....not mudslinging.

I can't believe anyone even mentions facts or truth in referring to the media news services, talk shows or their commentaries. It is all about fear, confusion and polarization; more broadcast and print with less reliable information. It is a myth that the media have any obligation to be factual or truthful. These shows are to entertain, misinform and disinform, but not to inform.

So. Be good little sheep and draw lines and take sides. But only about irrelevent non-issues.

You folks that are complaining about various media personalities shouldn't listen to them expecting information. 99% of what they say or print is conjecture and opinion, 1% is information.

If you want to know what the news is, scan the bottom scroll on the tv news. If you want to know what a politician thinks, read his or her speeches - yes READ them, the whole thing. It's pretty informative - could put you to sleep, true, but at least you can make a judgement about the content of their words.
