nonMB sticking caliper or what?

Our Caravan wears the front left outer pad a lot quicker than the other front pads. It's one of those single piston against the inner pad deals. The slider pins are clean, the caliper slides easily on the pins, the pads slide easily in the caliper, there's a couple mm of slack when there's no pressure on the caliper... I don't know how much better things could be. It pulls slightly to the left when cruising. Not noticeably when braking. Yet it appears stopping is handled by one pad. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Sixto
