Vinyl Windows - Change Color?
I want to use vinyl windows in the cabin we're building but the two color choices (white and almond) for the trim are nasty and don't go with the theme of the building.
I'm considering experimenting with the vinyl dye used for recoloring auto upholstery but does anyone here have a suggestion for recoloring?

My guess is that it won't work long term. Vinyl is awfully slick. Getting color to stick to it is difficult. The color of vinyl is the color of the material, all the way thru. Adding a different color layer on top just seems like introducing a major maintenance headache.

Krylon Fusion for Plastic (spray paint). Bonds directly to hard vinyl; they say it can be used to paint vinyl patio furniture. I would expect patio furniture to take more abuse than window frames, so this paint might be durable enough for your application.
