Simple stress relief at the click of a button! I bought a CD a few years ago with Doom, Doom II and Ultimate Doom. Network Doom can be fun too!

The only one I remember is "iddt" to see the full map. I forgot I even had Doom, and recently figured out how to get it to run pretty darn well on XP. That big sucka that shoots rockets sucks!

Wolfenstein 3D was the only time I dipped my toes into that kind of pastime. I dont understand how "entertainment" is supposed to inspire nausea, so stopped after a few minutes.

Nope....

Nope. Never seen it before in my life.
Never got into video games.
Never had one in the house...Dorm...Anywhere.
My kids will never have one either.

I guess I’m just a stick in the mud.
That - or maybe we’d rather just play with sticks and mud.

I must admit however, that in college I did watch a few guys play them. It was all way over my head how they did all the things they did on them. Too smart for me !!

One of the levels of Doom has some blue dudes running around saying: Schutzstaffel!

I wasted more time than I'd care to admit playing the various Dooms.

I played a lot of Doom. I got Duke Nukem 3-d in college, but it was the only thing ever to give me motion sickness without actual motion, so I could only play about an hour at a time. Probably a good thing.
