i have a 99 dakota rt i just it has been sitting for a year i had to replace rod bearings and time and money were a little issue but everything is back together now and i try and start it wont start the fuel pump isnt turning on every time the key is turned on the relay trips what might be causing this and how do i fix it

Did you check the fuel tank for water? May have rusted the pump if it sat for a year.
