Oh, darn... He survived. :(

Unfortunately, our favorite fat, clueless, cowardly commie bastard Ted Kennedy's plane was able to land safely after being struck by lightening and losing power yesterday.

Wouldn't it be ironic if it crashed over water?

I once had a meteorology final question that read:

How do you spell the word for the bright discharge of electrical energy from a cloud. (or something to that effect)

It was surprising how many people missed it.

Yes, that would have been quite poetic. Too bad.

Politics has nothing to do with it, letting a young lady drown earns you top spot to kick the breathing habit IMO.

if you knew the details of the accident you might realize that "letting" is not the proper word. it was very unfortunate and inexcusable but it was an accident and the possibility of rescue was pretty much not an option.

Oh goody, we've resurrected the "taking glee from the misery of others" topic again.

What, you mean the part where he dove repeatedly into the water to save the girl or the part were the accident wasn't reported until Teddy-boy sobered up and got his story straight with his friends?

Yes, I would definitely find enjoyment in his misery. He has certainly CAUSED enough of it.

"unaware the she was inside the car"

Now ask yourself how come the sheriff did not know that Mary Jo was inside the car?
