Many ebay auto sellers actually warn against those "second chance" offers in their item descriptions.
I'm sorry people do this kind of thing. I guess it goes with the territory; I've been lucky 100% so far, but the latest thing I get is Phony paypal spam asking for my financial info., and I get it every day, along with hundreds of spam email letters.

I've got those before. I questioned the seller before paying money. Also I have gotten emails saying that the sale was complete but the buyer backed out at the last minute. I emailed both seller and buyer then CC the email to Ebay.

Ebay Scammers..
I think it is best to establish a "My Ebay" account and therefore all communication will be through you mailbox in ebay..Otherwise any email you receive will be suspect as the logos etc can all be cut and pasted. I have bid on 3 pre 1985 MBs this week and after I lost the bid on them I received one of these letters..on all three..from different sources..reported all to ebay spoofs as requested. Some new to eBay will give private info to these emailer frauds and then it will be too late. Keep your eyes open and your billfold closed till you see it in My Ebay ! Glad they caught one..there are hundreds out there apparently !..M
