First car ever bought and owned was a stick 1985 Nissan 200SX complete with flip up lights. The stupid thing was a four cylinder with eight plugs! What a ***** to tune-up! But it was rear wheel drive and stick so I loved it to death but I will never buy another Nissan as long as I live. It just died on me one day and that was that.

My first car was a 71' Pontiac Firebird with a I-6 and 3 on the tree. It had the special "alligator" paint which was peeling all over the place. The car was easy to work on and a real dog. Best part of owning it? I only paid $300 bucks for it.

My first car was a '69 Chevy Camero with blue and white top. Car was bought from the original owner for $800. It had 105K when I bought it, and the body had more bindo than metal. Steering wheel was all busted and I got zipped every time I used the horn. It also used a quart of oil every week. Sold it back to the original owner after 3 years for $800, he wanted to restore the car.

Mine was a 69 VW bug that was so rusted out you could see the front tire, I took a shower every time I hit a puddle. I worked for an adhesives company and got a bunch of expired industrial urathane and filled everything in, it worked great. I put snow tires on all four tires and used to follow any dirt path I saw.

My very first car is a Triumph Herald conv.that if you
ran 45 mph.the hood lock, pop open and rattle like *&%#!~.
As it got a little older, you have to tighten the univ.joints
bolts on the rear axle,at least ones a month. To top it of
if it rains your on for a shower.

My first car was a 1972 280SE 3.5. The car was old at the time but looked and ran very well. I then traded it for a fairly new 126 Euro 280SEL. Next came a 94 Range Rover and then my C43, both of which I currently drive. All of these were and still are great cars.

1st car that I called my own (my dad was on title) was a 1980 Datsun 210 with a bang up rear fender. Got it in 86-87

Maybe that is why I really appreciated my cars now.

Mine was a Vauxhall Vectra 1.7 LS TD '96. Had on it 48K when I had it. Served me well for 2 years before I sold it privately to an environmental engineer for almost half the price I got it for- STG 5k (sigh*) them prices just keep going down... better than the dealer who offered me only STG 4k I suppose.

My first car was a 1973 Oldsmobile Delta 88 hardtop sedan, wedgewood blue with a white vinyl roof. Bought it brand new off a dealer lot in spring 1974 for $4000 ($1200 off list); not many people were buying full size cars after the 1973 gas shortage.

I turned 16 a month after the 55-mph speed limit took effect Anyway, I drove the Olds for a little over two years (1974-1976) until I totalled it. Replaced it with a 1972 280SE which I still miss, to this day. Silver with blue velour interior. Probably the best car I've owned yet.

The worst? Tied between my 71 T-bird (never wanted to start) and my 85 Sentra (always wanted to die).
