I am going to lay low and start packing up some stuff for a move in a few weeks. Taking bigger to the zoo tomorrow. Will do some grilling, but mainly just chilling with the family because I will be out of town for some of next week and the wkd.

Ah yes, the domesticated life is a world of excitement.

Plant a small tree in the newly landscaped front yard, move some old furniture around, and install shelving in my better half's closet. Fun stuff.

Cook out on Sunday with the family. Weather is supposed to be crappy for the most part.

Geeee, that's too bad.

In Southern California, our weather pattern is typical for May:

heavy marine layer comes in at night, blanketing the region in fog. Lows in the upper 50's. Mornings are cool; generally in the 60's until the marine layer burns off, then sunny from about noon on, with highs in the upper 70's / low 80's.

Good Lord, it sure is great to live in Southern California.

Cool *** I've been called a "motha" more than a fatha'... ***

Preparing for Sunday...

Yep...90s this weekdnd...chance of rain (30%-40%), I'll be in Eau Claire for "Sawdust City Days" working a station event...a karaoke-style show with up to 100 wannabes, trimmed down to 20 finalists...it's going to be a long day of dreamers...

I'll be slammed w/the "motha" label a few times...

When you're salaried...overtime is a dream...and abuse is the rule.

Hopefully, the rain will hold off...I'm hoping the weather-geeks are "off," as usual.
