So,how is YOUR garden?

As a welcome respite from contentious and unproductively insipid political threads let's have pictures of our gardens, last summer we had some really great ones,I'll start the ball rolling.

My garden

That's an impressive garden, Carleton. My garden has only grass in it. To me there is nothing finers-looking that an immaculate, freshly mown lawn. Sorry I don't have any pictures, but it's mostly flat and green-looking with cool diagonal stripes made by the lawn mower.

Hell, it ain't rocket science, just buy some perennials and trees suited to your zone, lift the grass, plant and water, that's how I started, house hadn't been lived in for 30 years so I just went in with a chainsaw, rototiller and lots of imagination, the 2 goldfish ponds were there, just needed to be unearthed,I love the wild look, although a great deal of work goes into maintaining it.

Nothing like flower and plant catalogues to teach you about plants and their needs.

GTG at Carleton's house!

I love the summers out here in Oregon. The soil is so good, you just put plants in the ground and they grow! I cut a massive cauliflower head last week, it was bigger than my head.

I've never figured out how to post pics, unfortunately, but I've got about 200 square feet of veggies. Anyone need some zucchini?

Alright, pics will be coming then...it might have to wait until tomorrow, though, as it could take a while with a dial-up connection....

Nope, Shirley MacLaine{who had a hot masturbation scene with Sellers}Melvyn Douglas and Jack Warden.

Go rent it or borrow it from your library, very pertinent in view of the current situation in Washington.
