That would make for quite an alarm clock.

I was a kid in that era and had seen one of these in a parade in Ann Arbor, MI. There were CD drills for Nuclear War back in those days, early and mid-50's. I believe that I actually heard one of these Victory Sirens, during one of these drills, testing it's effectiveness. One air-raid siren for the whole city, I think was the idea. I didn't know what a HEMI, was in those days, I was just a Kid.

I wish they had a small version of that for a car. I am looking for the most obnoxious horn ever made that I can carry to get the driver in front of me to wet his/her pants when they are dithering as to what a green light means.

well I don't suppose anybody will be blowing the "Victory Horn" anytime soon.

During the Cuban missle crisis in the 60's we had air raid drills every week in school and every Saturday. I can still hear that thing.

It would be cool to have one of those as the alarm for a home security system.

Some catalog (JC Whitney, maybe?) used to sell locomotive air horns. THAT would be fun!

The spool-up time wouldn't be worth it unfortunately....

Cut off by other driver....Start HEMI....Rev HEMI....Horn begins to wail 15 seconds later. Yep...the finger is much faster.

Aklim, I used to drive a big dump truck as a teenager. It had two big air horns on top of it and it was a blast (pardon the intended pun) to scare the crap out of people with that thing at stop lights!
