over this last weekend there has been another random shooting. the murderer just randomly shoots people. he hides and when somone alone rides by on a bike he shoot. wonderful isnt it? my moms all worried to go places on her own now. several of these have taken place within 8 miles from my house. just thought i would share az's new news

We had the infamous sniper(s) in our area. Yes its bad. Even though the odds of being hit are very low, you can't ignore the news and the randomness of it. When one incident was a few miles from our house it was real creepy. I read the same thing is happening in Indiana as well. Eventually they all get caught somehow. Lets hope its soon.

I am sorry you have to experience this. We went through a similar experience in October a few years ago when John Lee Malvo and his apprentice where shooting people at random in the Metro area in Dc, Md. and Va.

When the snipers were driving around Washington, DC in their time-share 1968 Chevy picking people off randomly, I found myself being suspicious of all sorts of people. It's a strange feeling, that's for sure.

It's like your attitude towards burglary before and after your house has been buglarized. I was shocked at the way it made me feel. Creepy.

I hope they catch these bastards soon. It's hard, though. Motive is one of the chief means that police use to catch criminals in spite of what you may think from watching CSI and shows like that.

Speaking of high-tech criminal investigation, our snipers were profiled by some of the country's best at the FBI, and they were 180 degrees wrong. The police spent three weeks tooking for a couple of white guys in a white van or box truck and allowed the real snipers, a couple of black guys in an old, beat up blue Chevy to pass through numerous road blocks, traffic stops, and other police contacts. Sometimes science does more harm than good. This was one of them.

I'm doing some business in Tucson and Phoenix this week and there seems to be two serial killers, one in a car doing drive bys of people and dogs and another one walking and shooting random people at close range. By the way, if they say it gets hot in AZ in late July . . . believe them.

Any rumors about motives?

The one shooter had a really tough life from what I have read. His wife left him and both of his little boys died in a car accident. He tried saving them from a freezing river but was unable to do so or he would have died himself. I'm sure that incident had ALOT to do with his killing motive.
