My gmail gets 1900 spam messages each month
Just checked my gmail. Can you believe that? 1900 spam emails? Cripes!

been visiting alot of sites you shouldnt be.. lol.. i only get about 30 spams a month and its all for engineering software... example.. in the subject.. solidworks full edition 06...200$... pfft i can get the student edition for about 400 the lowest and the full commercial version is like 4k or more

You should have a second address you use for signing up for crap. Use your main email address only to give your friends.
Google will automatically dump your spam from the Spam folder after something like 30 days, and doesn't count it towards your space usage, so it's pretty harmless, except for the few that slip through and reach your main inbox. Two or three slip through Google's Spam folder defenses and into my inbox daily; I just ignore the Spam folder.

Well, that explains it. I've had mine for two years and it's tied to several accounts of mine in different places, plus my personal website...

I signed up for one of those free giveaways once and never followed up. They're all repeats of the same damn thing.

I average only 1-2 spams a day through Gmail. My old AOL account got at least half a dozen.
Gmail is the best account I have had so far, thanks Jeff for the invite!

1900 is an awful lot for a personal email address, either someone has it on a lot of distribution lists or it's a very common combination of words....lucky you
 Do you reply to a lot of forwards from other people?

Wow, thats alot. I only see about 30 most for the month. They are all for perscription drugs cheap...
