I've always liked the styling of the "standards", and gawd, what a hot rod that one is! Here's a review with a dyno chart.

I have a friend who had one for several years, and it was waaaay more bike than was really good for him. I never rode it, but I expect it would be a blast.

Have fun!

75 Z1b

I have a 1975 Z1B with 9300 orig miles on it. Orig paint(was it called candy apple blue or something?) (9 out of 10). Orig pipes. (6 out of 10)
Has a set of Lester Mags and Goodyear raised letter tires. VERY Little rust. Still has lots of little factory yellow paint dots
Last tagged & registered (NJ) in 1982. I am 3rd owner and have the title issued to original purchaser.
Except for wheels, tires, K/Q seat and chrome chainguard, bike is original.
Bought it on a whim. The bike I always wanted, but I was getting married and settled for a KZ750 twin in 1976. :rolleyes

I will be selling it probably in a month or so. Will probably try the WorldWide Z-1 community first and then ebay if no interest.

Alas, I'm a Harley guy!

time for service

i took it to the kawasaki dealer for service today, it has right at 7k miles, so i told them to do the 7500k service.will get new tires, and some other repairs valve adjust carb sync etc.... i was hoping to have it by the weekend, that was dashed pretty quick when the service advisor asked if they could keep it a week
hopefully it will be done by next week at the latest. i hadn't noticed but the tires were worn to the wear bars, is that something the selling dealer should have addressed? should i call them on it? i bought it from a dealer in another city.

Bike update

still in the shop!! apparently during the 7,500 miles service it was determined that the valves were out of adjustment, which is good, but the shims are not in stock, the service advisor told me it will be ready on thursday, hopefully it will be so i can ride it this weekend.
