Smart cars for sale in Colorado

http://www.elizabethrvauto.com/smart_car.htm

No mention that they're Mercedes. I saw two car carriers filled with Smarts on the road today.

You could probably park that one in the RV.

When we went to Italy a few years ago,we saw soo many smart cars. They looked really cool and I would have never expected such a small car would be able to be driven in the US.When my kids went to Cancun (without parents),on there way to the airport,my son spotted a Smart car.Ive been told they are two-speeds.I saw a lime green one.How much smaller is the A-Class or B-Class than the Smart? That would be cool to have in the US.

ZAP imported smarts and converted them for emissions and US regulations, in turn bumping the price to like 35-40k for a 11k car..

eep it appears that dealership is taking in ZAP converted smarts.. which means they are selling like hot cakes for 3-4 times the price it should be...

I've been there and test driven one at Elizabeth RV & Auto. The one they offered was $26,999 USED with 800 miles.

They said ZAP adds over $4000 to federalize (remove all the good euro stuff and cover up the holes).

After driving it, I WILL NEVER BUY ONE. They are plastic junk, the tranny sucks, only a steering wheel airbag, no corner-adjusting headlights, no diesel, it's slower than a stock 300D, it only gets 45-50mpg, and it just feels overall cheap. The only good point is the MB made engine.

They are in NO WAY WORTH the $28,000 they are asking for.
My verdict after driving one: Spend another $2000 and get a Mercedes C230.
