My buddy who worked as a Mechanic at the dealership said it was impossible, airbags don't go of that fast.

Not to mention there’d be a big cloud of talc dust in the air. It would have knocked his head back and fired (inflated) much quicker than that. It would never go off from a purse on the bumper (the sensors are on the frame).....

But who cares?! The world is full of uppity A-Hs like that, and it’s fun to laugh at the thought of that happening to one of them.

You don't know how much that purse weighed. There might have been more force behind that than you realize. I was married to a woman that carried damn-near everything she owned in her purse.

If they didn't go off fast they would be useless. Your buddy is wrong.

It's fake... airbags only deploy under severe deceleration, not shock.
