My dad found this link and sent it to me. It's an SLK with a SLR engine, freakin awesome!
I wish I was the son of a rich oil shiek!

been posted before.. I think the owner also has an E55 with a SLR engine. From what I heard, he's a pilot for one of the Gulf countries.

Very nice. I still think the Enzo is a more fun car though.

Probably, they are usualy good for stuffing a few cars every rally. Did you see this years and the Rolls that went into the guard rail?

As the driver of the 612 said, "well it was worth about $1m"

The E320CDI isn't going to keep up with the other cars though. Not unless those brunettes with the Mini try entering the event again. How much is the event now? $15k per person?

One word, custom. I don't think it cost that much, but this was a very custom Phantom so it wasn't the base $400k stripper.

No a CDI won't cut it. There was a CLS55 this year that the TV guys rode in for a bit. They couldn't keep up because of the limiter. To Gumball it seems you need a car that is capible of 150-200 for extended periods. Like a CL65AMG with speed limiter rolled back.

I think entry is up to $30k, and I thought there was a waiting list. Figure on a bunch of damage to the car, and some expensive nights. These guys only stay at the best hotels.

But it would be tough to beat ending the trip by hanging out at the Playboy Mansion pool
