School shooting in Canada....

Well, it's all over the news and nobody seems to know what the heck is going on. According to MSNBC, a shooter ran into a college and started popping people at random and then turned the gun on himself. But then they said he might have been killed by Police...story is developing so who knows.

Anyway, I wonder what the Canadians will say to this one. They have VERY strict gun laws and always frown on us Americans calling us cowboys. Guns don't kill, it's the damn people that do. It doesn't matter which country you live in, if you are determined to get a gun you are bound to get one with ease. To hell with Canada, been to Montreal over the summer and I never plan on coming back....bums, garbage, strip clubs and hookers literally litter the streets.

Huh, I'd say Montreal is probably the coolest city I've been to, anywhere. Maybe you went on a bad day.

Sure you didn't have too many cosmos, pass out and dream you were in Montreal, cause that sounds a hell of a lot more like Newark to me.

I was walking to my hotel at 3am and all of the sudden I saw a shadow fly past my head. Then a bottle exploded on some girl's leg and cut some major artery since blood was literally shooting in all different directions. She dropped to the ground and passed out while the ambulance took ever 20 minutes to arrive. Not sure if the girl is alive today but I sure hope she is. The object that was thrown from a hotel roof top was a full 22oz beer bottle. I guess I'm lucky I didn't get hit, especially since the girl was about 2 feet in back of me.

Well surprise surprise. We have yet another insensitive and shallow post from Kamil. There are people who are dead and injured. There are families and friends who will grieve. And instead you choose to make this a "to hell with Canada" post because you happened to see some bums, garbage and strip clubs on a trip to Montreal, as if these things don't exist in the US or other countries. This might earn me a warning from a mod, but I'm more than prepared to take that. You managed to turn a tragedy like this into something entirely about yourself. I am continually amazed at how self-centred and emotionally bereft you are. You seem to be nothing more than a spoiled rich kid and if I was your parents I would be ashamed of what that money has done to your humanity. I'm going to deign to speak for all 31 million Canadians right now and suggest that instead of avoiding Montreal you just stay out of the entire country.

One time I was driving around there at night, lost. Went over the wrong bridge leaving Philly, whoops! There were lots of guys dressed completely in blue, staring at me. There were bars covering the entire facades of buildings, not just the windows.

I was never so happy to see a cop as I was that night.

According to the news nobody was killed. These things occur on the daily basis, am I suppose to sit in my room and cry all day long?

By the way, I'm sure there will be personal attacks on me to come but I'm leaving for school, haircut and tanning so I will not be able to respond until later.

Reports currently have 4 dead and 16 injured, plus the two gunmen. If nobody was killed it would make it ok? No, you aren't supposed to sit in your room and cry all day, but you've gone out and made this about you. You clearly have never learned the value of when to speak and when not to speak.

Well fine...since there are deaths involved lets delete the thread. We cannot discuss such a topic because it hurts the feelings of others. I knew I'd get a Canadian's panites in a bunch with my initial post

Remember, when I started the post the news was not out yet. The reporters said it was just injuries.

Kamil,

After hearing constant bad news from the US I'll take the strip clubs and beautiful women anyday.
