Hey gun nutz, I found something for you.

I ya all remember my thread from last year regarding the broken stock on my trusty Benelli Montefeltro stock wooo's I solved the problem.

http://www.e-gunparts.com/

The price on a new stock was so outragous and hard to get I gave up on the hunt and bought a Beratta Extrema II, which is OK but I like the Benelli better.

And so on the prices for the Montefeltro stock ranged from $200-$400 until I did a last ditch google and found the stock for an unbeleivable $57 and it is offcial Benelli. I ordered it with the expectation of never getting the order, getting the wrong part or a cheap knock off.

Nope they sent me the real thing and for $5.00 shipping I got it in two days; I guess I win this time and can cancel my order with Brownells that has been paid for and in process for 1 year and much more money.

Sometimes you win buying stuff online. Makes up for when you get burned. Although knock on wood I have been lucky.

When you first got the Extrema, you sure did like it and so did your neck. Can't shoot 3 1/2s in the Bene, either

Dove hunting so much this year has made me want to get a 'new' .20 auto. I have a S&W Model 1000, which I like, but just tire kicking I found a .20 Montefeltro Silver for sale. Question: why did Benelli put the safety behind the trigger on this gun, instead of in front like on the SBE and the Nova? That is one of the main reasons I wanted one!!!!

!!
I shoot the Monte better, I have been shooting it so long that the front bead was missing for two or three weeks before I noticed is was missing.......and it was brought to my attention by someone else.

That is called instinct shooting; when you grow up you'll know what I am talking about

The safety is behind on the Monte because is was intended for Upland, I think it is behind on the SBE as well i can check tonight.

You've disclosed too many of your hunting tactics to claim to be an instinct shooter. Get back to me when you call them in over blocks rather than when they are eating corn out of cow turds

Absolute skunk on Sunday morning, btw (same place where the picture of the 4 limits came from). Going to the camp Fri and Sat. for the last weekend.

they must have cleaned your corn pile up over night.

Real men use big decoys.

That makes sense, but the nova has a front safety which is better with thick gloves on. I know the SBE II has rear safety--I thought the old SBEs had front--maybe not.

Sorry to dissapoint--hunting over water (teal, not doves). I bet you would make the paper if you pop riveted one of those on a G# or a War Eagle and hit the rivah.

In SC some ranchers I knew spraypainted "COW" on herefords and other light colored cows so the rednecks wouldn't shoot them.
