So tell me, how did this administration garner my public support through fear? What should the administration have done - attempt to gloss over the attack? Like in the first attack? Maybe just maybe, the WTC would still be standing had an overwhelming response been employed the first time.

What would YOU have done had you been the president? Exactly what would you have done? Show the creeps we had no fear and stopped all screening at airports. Prove to them that we are not scared by disbanding the boarder patrol, the USCG and the military? What would YOU have done?

If whatever it is was not tightening up security, immediately and profoundly, what would it be?

I don't know about how it will play, if true, into whomever's propoganda machine, if it will.

I've always known that OBL was not the sole source of terrorism. There have been numerous groups bent on the same goal as Al-Qaida has for the US for decades.

Concentrating solely on OBL is just plain stupid. Especially in light that he has been marginalized for the last several years.

Now, if I were into the propoganda thing I'd trot out a look alike and state that OBL is now in our custody when he turned himself in to seek medical treatment. After all, this is as much a media war as it is a traditional one.
