Whats good to visit in Toledo?

In 2 weeks I will be driving to Toledo. My son is auditioning with the orchestra, there, and I want him to be well-rested, so I will take a couple of days and drive him. He was going to drive with a friend who was also auditioning, but the friend got a letter saying they were not invited.
While we are there, what is worth seeing? Are there any really good beer gardens. or pubs that brew their own?

Why the Mudhens of course! But season's over. Fifi's is a good old style restaurant where they still do Tournedos of Beef at tableside. Very romantic, dark, but pretty cool to see how things were done in the past.

Toledo has a pretty good art museum. Their zoo is supposed to be pretty good as well. ditto what Jim H said...Tony Packo's is top notch. Did you ever see the MASH episode where Klinger is talking all about it?

Yes, Tony Packo's. I am a bit of a MASH fan, but my wife is the ultimate MASH fan. Several years ago I got her a MASH trivia game for a present. No one will play with her, as she never misses.
Yes, I think we will visit Tony Packo's

This thread made me think of something...I spent the first 20 years of my life in Cincinnati, 4 hours away from Toledo, and as far as I can recall, we never went to Toledo or Cleveland, I mean NEVER, EVER. We went to Indy, Lexington, Louisville, even Columbus and the Air Force Museum in Dayton, but never went to the northern part of the state. Surely there is something worthwhile there for sightseers and tourists.

The airport?

Just kidding. I've only been there once and the airport is the only part of Toledo that I saw. I was working on a contract in Bowling Green. That seemed like a nice enough university town. I always think of Cpl. Klinger anytime I here the name "Toledo."
